If you’re anything like me, you probably love the back to school season. New pens, new agenda, new notebooks, nothing makes me happier. Being an aspiring teacher, this like has gone to full blown obsession mode, and working in an office supply store has done nothing but fuel my addiction. At work I speak with many teachers and together we chat about supplies and what works for them…which got me thinking. Here I’ve collected a list of my top ten favorites for this back to school season:

Frixion pens

1. Frixion Pens Bright colours, erasable and available in fine and medium point, these pens make for a great addition to a pen collection. Personally, I use them for correcting work and filling in my calendar (because god knows things always change) and being able to erase those mistakes make things cleaner and easier to read!

2. Customizable Binders Organization is key and for that you require the ability to label EVERYTHING. I’ve found clear covered binders to be the best to customize to my likings (and even using these super cute printable FREE design covers

Binder pockets

3. Along with the customizable binders, comes these neat little pockets. I’ve found these useful to hold handouts, cards and lesson plans all together. *BONUS* label the pockets themselves for optimal organization.

4. Doodle Calendar The doodle/colouring craze is everywhere! The doodle calendar is both great aesthetically and offer a place to doodle when you’re thinking.

5. Sharpie highlighters (10 pack) We all love highlighters I’m sure. But how about a 10 pack of assorted sharpie highlighters?

6. Apple Post-It dispenser This right here doesn’t even need a very long description because so cute, so functional.

7. Blue-Q Blue-Q has the funniest stuff available for people of all types. It might not be stuff you want to leave out for your kids to see, but they’re bound to make you giggle, check out some pencil cases here !

leuchtturn 1917

8. Leuchtturm 1917 This next one all depends on the type of note taker you are. I find that having a book filled with my notes and ideas as well as my to do lists and calendar is super handy, and for that I use the Leuchtturm1917 dot journal. I find the less lines I have, the less constrained I am!

9. Brightstixs These things literally cannot stay on the shelf. Used to write on chalk boards, with fluorescent colour, these bad boys will spice up your classroom in an instant.

10. Dymo hand held labeler. Inexpensive, small, and perfect for labeling everything you own. Label your binders, your lessons, your food……..anything.
